Ever so often nature surprises you with something so unexpected you just have to stop and get off the crazy wheel.
The surprise is in our backyard growing up through a piece of chain link fencing hubby took down so we could take down a tree (and there it still sits),
growing up through the piece of fencing leaning against the propane tank sprinkled with pine needles.
Glorious. All by itself.
An unexpected glimpse of heaven and a
reminder of God's Presence facing the East, as if waiting for His return.
One solitary giant sunflower.
Not planted by me, not nurtured by human hands but lovingly placed there by a faithful God who delights in surprising His children with little things like sunflowers.
